The kitchen is the heart of the home, but why? It is the source of sustenance for those who live in and visit the home. It is a gathering place for family and friends to become closer and support one another. It is the litmus test for hospitality in a home.

Everyone needs food. Takeout is expensive. Why not try to make cooking as painless as possible? Dare we hope it might even be enjoyable?

I love my kitchen. While I don’t have my dream kitchen, I have cultivated my kitchen over the years to include what I want/need to make food for my loved ones. I like to be ready for any culinary need that might fit my goals. I like to bring deviled eggs to gatherings, so I have a cool and serve setup that allows me to do just this! I also have a filling dispenser with a large tip to fill the deviled egg filling and set my homemade eggs apart. I use a particular pot when I boil my eggs because I know just what to do so they turn out just right. Making my kitchen my own allowed me to be comfortable knowing I am making food my way!  It gives me a result I can feel great about!

Each family is different. I want to help you build your kitchen with my research and experience.  Whether you are creating a Tuesday night dinner, a surprise birthday feast, or a romantic dinner for two, I want to help you have the most wonderful memories.  Having the right kitchen equipment can be the difference between frustrating defeat and victorious success. When your kitchen is equipped to do what you want, you are empowered to create what you want.

I will continue to add quality content to help us all cook better and smarter.  Please, also check out my recipes for ways to use all of your awesome kitchen superpowers!

Kitchen Utensils: 3 Things to Consider When Buying

I used to fall victim to strategically placed, teal-handled spatulas in the pudding aisle.  This all too often leads to the heartbreak of a half-melted, teal-handled spatula head and the inevitable internal battle on whether to trash it.  It is possible to prevent such tragedies when such encounters are paired with my kitchen utensils buying...
